gently quietly softly from its hiding place in the body
hardly forced, yet hesitant at first
often with no words
yet with immense feeling
and textures of silky effervescent waters
gushing down the back body
warming all that has been chilled for so long
and gaining momentum as it travels through the body
until it finds itself
its melody
its home
the trees know it
the breeze knows it
the birds know it
and now is your time
to taste your one true thing
to sing your song.

My Story

The thing about me is that I’m an artist and a healer. Despite decades of professional success, I found the entertainment industry stifling to my spirit and I eventually became burnt out from trying to trade one part of myself for another.

After years of health related struggles, I came to intimately understand how vital it was to slow down, anchor into my body, restore my spiritual life, and find the right mentor to guide me through that transition. Through my immersion in various healing modalities, I have found a deeper voice within, a living truth that longs for freedom, and a powerful attunement to my spiritual life.

I now live as a bridge between inner and outer worlds. Yes, I’m a successful professional AND I’m also an artist, a mentor, and a soulful healer with a rich inner life. I’m a sifter, a glider, a shapeshifting rider.

I’ve mapped out the connection from body to voice, from voice to soul. I help take all the goo, all the trauma, all of the static, and carve out a safe place for you to find your ground, anchor your truth, and reconnect to your aliveness.

Together, we will work from the inside out to release the tension and blocks in your voice, in your body, and in your life.

Ready to bridge your inner and outer worlds?

What People Are Saying

Monica Sanjur

First, I want to thank you for an amazing session. It was groundbreaking and I felt so connected to the whole group! I haven’t felt that elated and free in such a long time. It really confirmed for me that I’m on the right path. Opening up has been hard for me my whole life but I feel safe in this group. More so than in others I have been in. It truly is an ideal community. I started doing the vocal journaling and that is a game changer for me! Journaling usually gets things out of my system and de escalates anxiety but this was like popping a balloon! Using my voice in these various ways is a totally new experience for me and a very healing one.

Monica Sanjur

Wow, best money that I’ve spent! I’ve grown not only in the work we did, but as my own person. I’ve discovered who I am and what I can offer to everyone else. I’m pretty pumped about this course! Sometimes we don’t do things because they are financial decisions but I am really happy that I didn’t let that stand in my way as it was really really powerful.

Darlene Francis
Alana Elmer

I am in a place in my life where I want to be living/working/being in my whole self. Have those things line up in what I choose to put my energy towards.

This class, meeting you and all these glorious people has truly changed my perspective on myself and I can feel this space kinda open up around me…it’s such a beautiful gift. It’s a feeling I wish for everyone

Alana Elmer

This was big for me because for so long I used to hide my voice; to allow it to come through without manipulating and to be in safe space where I could fully let go was a huge gift. It was also incredibly beautiful to hear everyone else’s authentic voice come through. I resonate with your work on so many levels; the spiritual, the divine, the playfulness, the voice and body connection. The shamanic quality to your container is exactly what I look for in the workshops I take. I was fed in many ways. This work is wanted and needed and you are a spectacular guide. Thank you.

Christina Dunbar

After your course, I felt many pieces of me that I have discarded all of my life, naturally finding their way Home.  My integration right now is prolific, and you were the perfect Guide. I was being “taught” how to begin to safely claim all of these parts of me back.

What is Soulsonging?2022-01-06T22:36:01-05:00

Soulsonging is the art of becoming through your voice. Soulsonging opens up your full vocal expression and allows for a more ‘real’ you to emerge. When we invoke our Soulsong, we welcome into our lives a whole terrain of new sounds, melodies and awareness of our speaking voice that may be unfamiliar to us, but very familiar and necessary for our Soul’s expression. Soulsonging bridges the space between the inner and outer world and invites the soul to reveal its beauty through song. It may arise as a little repetitive sound or a soothing melody, a soft voice. Its focus is ‘allowing,’ vs performing.

How much time will I need to devote to the course?2021-10-15T17:26:44-04:00

2.5 hrs/week with about an hour of reflective time between classes.

Will I be expected to sing in front of people?2021-11-21T01:30:56-05:00

There will be opportunities to share what’s emerging for you vocally during the course, but there is no requirement to sing in front of anyone.

This is not a performance class at all. The focus is on your voice emerging in a way that feels natural in your body. The classes will open up your speaking voice immensely. There is no goal or pressure to sing.

Do I need to be a singer to take this course?2021-10-15T17:25:11-04:00

No, not at all. While there will be space for singers to deepen their connection to their voices, the actual focus of the course is on the voice, so singing is not an essential skill to have to participate.

Is this course for women only?2021-11-21T01:36:42-05:00

No. This course welcomes anyone who feels called to connect more deeply to their soul through their voice.

Are you tired of being burned out
but not sure how to make a real change?

It’s time to get in the body.
Create the space to tune in and feel what’s frozen.
Let the voice express out loud in this moment.
And let it be messy, wild and free.
Unwind and release tension.

It’s time to come out of hiding.
Tell your story.
Spin a web of beauty
from all the inner work you’ve done.

Are you ready to embody your authentic voice
and freedom of expression?

All are welcome ~
no prior voice or singing experience needed.

“How can I sigh it? I fear it may
Mingle with earthly ether;
To whom shall I sing it? It dwells
In the house of my soul, in fear of
Harsh ears”.
